They took his tube out, they told us if he had a bad episode whilst off the ventilator there is a chance he could die.They said if his heart stops beating they won't resuscitate him as it would be cruel to him, but were hoping if he did have an episode they would be able to get his breathing tube back in in time.

Codie had 2 episodes whilst of the ventilator, luckily they got the tube back in. They then spoke to us about the fact his ventilator would be turned off and if we wanted that to happen in hospital or to see if we could go to rainbows.
