A few hours before Codie was transferred to the rainbow hospice, I (mummy) was holding codies hand whilst me and his Daddy were talking, he opened his eye and looked at us. I put my face up close to Codies and he smiled at us. Even though he was in all that pain, he still managed to smile, he knew we were there and he knew he was loved.
